Technical Drawings
This section features samples of my technical drawing skills, meaning fairly literal representations of people, places or things. During high school (1985-1989), I took a strong interest in drafting, and I excelled at it, always making A's. This was all done traditionally, using good ole pencils, T-squares and other hand-drawn drafting tools, mostly obsolete relics by today's standards.
I have worked at a number of engineering and research firms over the last 25 years, and was tasked with preparing many drawings for proposals, presentation of research findings, and instruction manuals. Due to the wide array of my experience in this area, I have divided this section of my portfolio into the following sub-sections.

In my early college days at the University of Kansas, I originally pursued Industrial Design as my major. The understanding of perspective, light source and space relations comes naturally to me. Although, not quite as creative or fun as other forms of drawing, I always embrace and enjoy a good technical drawing challenge.
