Template Design
My goal in designing PowerPoint templates is to make sure that it DOESN’T look like a template! The purpose of a presentation is most often to educate or inform. NOBODY likes to sit through a bland presentation full of bullet points and slides filled with text. My objective is to create enough visual appeal to keep the audience from dozing off. Graphics, images and appropriate animations can help keep viewers stay engaged enough to consume the content of the slides in a way that maximizes their memory of the topics presented. It is also important to incorporate a company’s brand into the format, including the correct color codes, logos and fonts. This can be done by spreading these elements across several different template slide types, including: a title slide, section dividers, content slides, charts/diagrams, and image-focused slides.
