Civil Engineering

My career somehow has led me into a number of Engineering firms. I work well with Engineers. I appreciate how smart they are, and they appreciate that I don't think like they do (they are the type who design the box, and I am the type who thinks outside of it!). In almost every case, I was initially brought in to do graphic design work (laying out proposals or presentations), but once they became aware of my illustration skills, I was often pulled into helping them illustrate their ideas in a way that was more engaging than their sterile sketches or CAD drawings. This page features drawings I did for a civil engineering firm that designed roadways, sidewalks, sewers, stormwater systems and other civil projects. All of these ended up in proposals.
