Social Media Graphics

Social Media graphics are just advertisements in digital form, usually delivered on web platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter(X), TikTok, etc. There are a few inherent challenges in designing for these platforms. For one, these sites are unfortunately destroying humans' attention spans. In a world where you can switch up your source of entertainment with a quick swipe of your finger or scroll of your mouse wheel, getting someone to stop scrolling and read an ad can be hard. Thus, your designs must stand out from the crowd visually. The other challenge is that, unlike a printed ad that has finite dimensions, social media ads must be able to work well in a number of dimensions and ratios. For instance, on one site it might need to be a square and another a wide rectangle. Being able to come up with layouts that work for a number of different ratios of space is a constant challenge for a social media designer.
