Schematic drawings are typically meant to educate or inform. The difference between these drawings and those in the Object illustration section is that these have notes, dimensions and instructions. These often are used in instruction manuals or plans meant for manufacturers to build something, put something together, or explain how something works. They are strictly literal interpretations of things. There is no room for subjective or abstract interpretation, as they are factual and meant to educate or instruct.
