This movie was written and directed by Austin, TX independent film-maker, Troy Miller, who also played the lead character, depicted in cartoon form in this design. Troy wanted a playful cover that let the audience know there were in for a whacky Film Noire-like spoof. The movie focuses on an abrupt transition of consciousness in the main character when he is laid off and decides that this is his one and only opportunity to finally live his life like the exciting private detective characters in his half-written novels.
